Hollow -
A color pencil was hollow. The BLACK color pencil was hollow. These color pencils are expensive. I did not pay for air. I did contact amazon and got a credit to my account, but this is irritating since I can't just buy a single black color pencil, and I'm not looking forward to buying another set for my little sister. This was a gift, by the way.
