Customer Review for this product :
Friends even to the End -
Naruto Vol 52 concludes the previous assault on the gokage summit arc while introducing the beginnings and preparation for the next great shinobi war. This volume covers material from Shonen Jump issues 95-98.
The chapters are:
484: Cell Seven Reunion!!
485: Near Yet Far
486: Fists
487: The Battle Begins...!!
488: Every Shinobi Village
489: Facing A Great Ninja War...!!
490: The Truth About Nine Tails!!
491: The Jinchuriki, Detained!!
492: Salutations
493: Dark Naruto!!
494: Killer Bee and Motoi
Concluding the previous arc went well by giving people, as the cover even shows, our Naruto and Sasuke reunion. I felt it was met with in good detail and on a nice note, indicating that, as most people predict a future showdown between the two will happen when they are both at their best. It is hard to really imagine that Kishimoto is writing or has written it in a way that Sasuke just doesnt have any friendly feelings towards Naruto and vice versa, and the segment almost makes it feel as if he cant possibly truly be as evil as some in the ninja world claim.
Beyond that, we had a return showing of several fan favorites including the other teams in Konoha, Kisame, Kabuto, Yamato, while introduction of the jinchuriki, Killer Bee. His rhymes were handled well in English.
The volume included no extras but had a large number of chapters. Content wise it was great as well as having a nice consistent and flowing English language structure making it easy to read and understand for all ages, clean crisp artwork, and a good cover design. This arc is looking to be a good one and the next volume can not come soon enough.
