Great Read!!! -
I didn't want to write a review until I read this book cover to cover. I finished it today and I have to say, It's awesome! If you don't know anything about Gundam 00, then well...sucks to be you. I won't give a long explanation of the plot, just because I can't stress enough how complicated it is to tell the story in writing. If your worried that this novel is in Japanese, then don't worry. If you pick this up in your local bookstore (which I did) then I can assure you it's in gool ol' English.
Basically, this novel takes place in Gundam 00 episodes 1-8, so you'll get from Setsuna's Battle in Krugis, up until Massoud Rachmadi's Capture/Retrieval. This novel does a good job of explaining what's happening in the Gundam 00 Universe. They even went so far as to explain some of the politics that are happening between the AEU, The Human Reform League, and the Union, As well as explaining the suffering Azadistan is going through.
Not only do you get the novel itself, but you get head-shots of all the characters involved in the novel as well as a little bio underneath their picture. You also get an afterword from some important dude, and a full-color poster. The poster includes nice art featuring all four Gundam Meisters in the front, and all the Celestial Being Mobile Suits in the back. I was suprised to read so much profanity in this novel. Allelujah at one point says the word f**k when Hallelujah is taking over his mind ._.
Overall I would recommend this book to a teenage fan of Gundam 00. Since their is a lot of profanity, I wouldn't reccomend it to kids (hence the "13 and Up" logo on the back). This novel gets 2 thumbs up from me! Go Gundam 00!!!

The novelization of the hit anime series! The year is 2307 A.D. Although fossil fuels have been depleted, humanity has obtained a new source of energy to replace them in the form of a large-scale solar power generation system based on three huge orbital elevators. However, the benefits of this system are available only to a handful of major powers and their allies. The three orbital elevators belong to three superpower blocs. These are the Union, led by the United States of America; the Human Reform League, led by China, Russia, and India; and the AEU, led by Europe. These superpower blocs continue to play a grand zero-sum game for the sake of their own prestige and prosperity. In this world of never-ending conflict, a private armed organization appears, dedicated to the elimination of war through armed force.
